Those who earn below P2 000 and below can only afford to pay their rent in towns where they are working buy a few groceries and pay school fees; add on to that transport fees for their children and themselves.
After paying all the bills one would be left with nothing in their bank accounts. If their parents have not built a good home when they were still working, they would then be stuck with the small mud houses that they share with the rest of the family and the circle of poverty would continue.
