GUS, DK want police station

The two Members of Parliament for Molepolole North and South Gaotlhaetse GUS Matlhabaphiri and Daniel Kwelagobe respectively have urged the Minister of Defence, Justice and Security to build a new police station in the village.


Matlhabaphiri who is also Assistant Minister of Public Administration and Presidential Affairs said people in the village have been asking for a new police station since the days of the first Motswana police commissioner Simon Hirschfeld, but in vain. Hirschfeld was police commissioner from 1971 to 1995.
