The web that is the ruling elite's business interests seems to grow by the week. This week Mmegi investigations reveal the business interests linking President Ian Khama, DIS boss Isaac Kgosi and former Debswana MD Blackie Marole. While Khama has direct stakes in tourism his interests indirectly lead to Marole and Kgosi, business partners, who share companies in properties and, it has emerged, construction.


The business relationship between the director general of the Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS), Isaac Kgosi and former Debswana managing director, Blackie Marole appears to be much deeper than originally revealed.
