The Grand Matriarch of the Kwena Royal House, Grace Kgosidintsi, has dismissed President Ian Khama's attempts to heal the rifts in their bogosi as the designs of one following in the footsteps of his father, Sir Seretse Khama, who was hell-bent on destabilising the Bakwena tribe.

Kgosidintsi said this as the taskforce appointed by the President to investigate the strife among Bakwena called a kgotla meeting to take the views of the tribespeople.The Grand Matriarch, who remained seated as spoke owing to infirmity brought on by old age, expressed misgivings about President Khama's task force that is led by former Speaker of the national Assembly, Patrick Balopi.
