More trouble awaits the five convicted P21 million Central Medical Stores (CMS) fraudsters as the state intends applying for compensation.

State prosecutors Merapelo Mokgosi and Priscilla Israel told court after conviction of Patrick Cole, Abram Marumo, Bushy Nthibo, Norman Maja and David Tumagole that they intend making an application for compensation by the convicts.

On Friday, Judge Lot Moroka convicted five men of a collective four counts of obtaining by false pretences.
