FRANCISTOWN: A delegation of five officials from the Belgium city of Genk will visit Francistown later this month, the mayor James Kgalajwe has said.

He told a full council meeting on Monday that the delegation will visit from May 28 to June 6 to review the twinning agreement between the two cities. After the review of the relationship that has existed for 10 years, he said the two cities will forge a way forward in other areas “which we can continue with and agree on new areas to partner on”.

Kgalajwe said that the council will be informed of the changes or amendments that may arise out of the visit. Genk has been involved in many projects in Francistown especially clean-up campaigns, youth development and ICT.
