General elections clash with BGCSE examinations

FRANCISTOWN: The elections day that President Ian Khama declared a public holiday about a week ago clashes with the Botswana General Certificate of Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (BGCSE) examinations.

The Ministry of Education and Skills Development and Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) still have no clue how to sort out the clash though they asserted they are considering options.

Besides the invigilators, a majority of Form Five students sitting the exams have already turned 18 and are eligible to vote.
