GCC ropes in aid for animal control

With nine days left to Independence Day, the Gaborone City Council (GCC) has engaged a company to control movement of stray animals in the capital.

The company, which has been engaged for the entire month, will control the recent invasion of livestock in the city following complaints from residents that they contribute to incidents of car accidents. 

“We have thus far, as a way to strengthen management of stray animals, engaged a company, which will provide horse patrols on a 24-hour basis.
