Addressing the Francistown full council on Friday, Maele stated that another 3,000 more plots would be serviced in Palapye, adding that a total of P360 million will be used for the projects.

Maele said his Ministry would repossess undeveloped 64 commercial and industrial plots allocated between 1998 and 2006. He also said the Francistown City Council would soon begin repossessing 94 undeveloped residential plots.

Maele also said that Francistown was running short of plot for churches, adding that the city currently only has 21 civic and communities plots.
