F/town recycles 90% of city's waste

FRANCISTOWN: The city of Francistown seems to be already in pole position to become a big player in the lucrative business of waste recycling.

Francistown mayor, Shadreck Nyeku has revealed that only 10 percent of the waste in the city goes to the landfill while the rest is recycled.

He stated that they are emulating the waste management system of the city of Genk, Belgium.
