Fridges and microwaves for primary teachers

Primary school teachers are being bought microwaves and fridges for use in their lounges/or staff rooms, The Monitor has learnt.

Primary schools will also be provided with laptops, desktop computers, digital cameras and multi media projectors.

According to a 2007 education statistics report Botswana had 784 schools. This week tenders for schools in Gaborone West, Gaborone North, and Gaborone South were placed in the Government Gazette, along with tenders for the supply of fridges and microwaves for 20 schools in the South East region (Tlokweng, Gamalete region).
