Fresh UDC tensions stoke familiar fires

Recent tensions within the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) seem to be reigniting old divisions between the Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) and the Botswana National Front (BNF).

The two parties are now embroiled in a conflict over who should be the UDC's face in the upcoming general election.

This issue has been a recurring theme within the UDC, as the coalition has struggled to maintain unity.
