Francistown twins with Chinese city

FRANCISTOWN: Francistown City Council (FCC) Mayor, Buti Billy and the Vice Mayor of Tai'an City in China, Lin Huayong, yesterday signed a twinning agreement that is expected to enhance the relationship of the two cities.

Billy indicated that the FCC stands to benefit vastly from their Chinese counterparts. They stand to benefit in the area of physical planning especially that despite its huge population, China's physical planning supports it.

Tai'an has a population of about five million people and it is part of a province called Shandong, which has a population of about 95 million people.
