Francistown ponders its future

FRANCISTOWN: Francistown may be a city, but at a meeting to discuss and plan for the metropolis future, it became apparent that it lacked a number of things.

Heads of various government departments and community leaders, including those from ward development committees tried hard to diagnose the city's present ills and then to mete out a panacea for its future development.


Their recommendations, according to Muzila, would then be forwarded to relevant ministries for consideration with a view to implementing those that have been considered.
Among the recommendations was that there should be a special dumping site for firewood ash.
