Citing the Francistown roads and the Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital (NRH) in particular, the councillors expressed their profound concern at this sad state of affairs.

Speaking at a full council meeting where they were supposed to discuss Mayor Shadreck Nyeku's speech last week, councillors expressed their dissatisfaction with the funds accorded to Francistown for developments. Botswana Congress Party (BCP) legislator, Councillor Professor Tlou of Itekeng ward, said that they have pleaded with the authorities in Gaborrone to upgrade roads in Francistown.
