Former mayor in court for alleged poaching

SELEBI-PHIKWE: The councillor for Ikageleng Phase One and former deputy mayor here, Letsweletse Dinale, is facing charges of unlawful possession of a government trophy.

Dinale, who just won the council seat in the recent general elections, appeared for mention in the Palapye Magistrates Court last Friday. He is out on bail after First appearing in court on June 29.

He and an unidentified companion were arrested and detained on June 28, after the police in Martins Drift allegedly found them in unlawful possession of a government trophy.
