Finance Minister to give directions on PPADB boss

The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) public relations manager, Ditapole Chibua-Tsheboeng has said they are awaiting directions from Finance Minister, Baledzi Gaolathe following the recent conviction of PPABD chief executive officer, Armando Lionjanga, for graft.

The minister appoints  PPADB chief executive officer. Following the conviction and jailing of Lionjanga, a new acting chief executive officer, Mosimolole Lefhoko has been appointed. He replaces the acting officer who took over from Lionjanga.

Meanwhile, Gaolathe has said that he will comment on the fate of the PPADB chief executive officer by next week. "I do not wish to comment on this issue as yet because it has legal consequences. I have not been formally briefed on the outcome of the court case. I can only respond some time next week," he said.Lionjanga's picture still graces the PPADB website and Chibua-Tsheboeng explained that a photo of an acting officer may not replace that of the substantive holder of the post.
