FCC encourages Competition Authority to grow teeth

FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) councillor for Tatitown, Stanley Masalila has warned the Competition Authority officials to guard against investors who try to compromise them with bribes.

Masalila was responding to a presentation made by the Competition Authority director of communications and advocacy, Gideon Nkala and his colleague, director of competition and research analysis, Dr Mokubung Mokubung to Francistown City Council (FCC).

"The authority should have teeth and deliver. Your intentions sound promising that you will bring order to a lot of industries in this country," Masalila told the Competition Authority team.
