FCC cllrs argue over strike

FRANCISTOWN: Francistown councillors engaged in a heated argument over the civil service strike yesterday, with one of them storming out of a meeting in protest.

The arguments started after the deputy city clerk, Goleba Thari read an industrial action report on the strike to the councillors.

During question time, councillor Professor Tlou of Botswana Congress Party (BCP) said the meeting should adjourn because the city is in a crisis.
