FBI says collaboration vital in fighting crime

Addressing graduates in Otse at the just-ended six weeks programme on law enforcement executive development at the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA), last Friday, Juile Johnson said more effective intelligence networks between agencies and information-sharing could make it impossible for criminals to hide their identities and intentions in committing crime.She said ILEA would continue to ensure that law enforcement officers have comprehensive training and skills necessary to prevent and reduce crime in their respective countries.
She explained that crime remains a challenge hence the need to constantly update and improve techniques in fighting it. She noted that the programme is evolving into one of the most innovative and challenging law enforcement training programmes offered on the African continent.
