Family numb with grief after child's death

CHADIBE: The family of a Tlhalogang Primary School Standard Two pupil who died after being knocked down by a motorist last Wednesday is said to be numb with grief.

According to Tatitown Police Station commander, Superintendent Tebogo Madisa, the seven-year-old girl was on her way home when the incident occurred at around 4pm. He said the girl was knocked down by a car that was driven by a 47-year-old man who seems to have lost control of the vehicle.

The girl was certified dead upon arrival at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital due to a fracture on her skull, said Madisa.
