Tlokweng police are on the hunt for a man who raped a 20-year-old woman on Saturday after masquerading as a cab driver.

Tlokweng Police Station commander, Superintendent Unoziba Rari told The Monitor that on the day at around 11am the young woman had sought the service of a cab from the Gaborone taxi station to Tlokweng.

Rari said when narrating the ordeal the victim stated that when arriving in Tlokweng the driver of a Honda Fit drove past the village heading towards the border, took the Modipane turn, drove into the bush, and raped her without using any form of protection.
