Facebook 'celebrates' Kokorwe's death

In an unprecedented occurrence in the culture of Batswana towards the dead, the Facebook fans of the youth local radio station are celebrating the death of local filmmaker Billy Kokorwe who died last week.

Yarona FM posted a picture announcing the death and burial of the filmmaker on their Facebook page on Tuesday morning. The Station reported, "The passing of local film maker and producer, Billy Kokorwe, is said to have cast a dark shadow over the status of the local film industry."

The fans od the radio station however commented in celebration. Some shared their unpleasant experiences of encounters with Kokorwe.

As vile comments filled up, Yarona FM cautioned users against unpleasant language saying, "Hi guys please let us not use unpleasant language on the page/post here. Thank you."

What about employees in private sector?

How can this be achieved when there already is little care about the working conditions of those within the private sector employ?For a long time, private sector employees have been neglected by their employers, not because they cannot do better to care for them, but because they take advantage of government's laxity when it comes to protecting and advocating for public sector employees, giving the cue to employers within the private sector...
