A group of people recently expelled or suspended from the Botswana National Front (BNF) has written to the party leadership, asking for reconciliation.

The letter has been written by former national disciplinary board chairperson, Dr Lebohang Letsie on behalf of Lobatse legislator Nehemiah Modubule and former central committee member Dr Elmon Tafa and others. The trio were expelled from the party last year. The letter is written under the auspices of the Temporary Platform, a dissident group within the party that came into being last year.

Letsie confirmed she wrote the letter and that they are hoping the BNF leadership will be willing to bury the hatchet.
