Erectile dysfunction cited in domestic violence

Erectile dysfunction and engaging in multiple concurrent partnerships by both men and women have been cited among factors that contribute to domestic violence in Botswana.

Speaking at a special meeting held at the Gabane Kgotla to mark the end of 16 Days of Activism Against Violence on Women and Children over the weekend, Gender Links coordinator, Keabonye Ntsabane, called for behavioural change among couples.

"Peace should begin at home - in the family - from where it spreads into the community," Ntsabane said. "For this to happen, we should be loyal and faithful to each other.
