Epileptic driver involved in fatal accident

FRANCISTOWN: A 46-year-old woman was hit and killed by a car driven by a man suffering from epilepsy in an accident that occurred last Friday in Tutume and left another person severely injured as street vendors scampered for their lives.

A doctor's report confirmed that the 64-year-old driver suffers from epilepsy.

Tutume station commander Superintendent Vusimusi Jorowe said the accident occurred at 3pm close to the Central village mall when the Toyota Hilux single cab approached the mall centre from Selolwane ward heading to the mall.
