Eloyi douses mysterious fires tormenting Willie family

PALAPYE: Eloyi Christian Church (ECC) recently moved in to end mysterious fires that have caused sleepless nights to the Willie family of Boikago ward in Palapye.

The fire has reduced most of the family’s belongings in the past two months to ashes.

Bishop Sekai Jacoba of Selebi-Phikwe-based ECC, who utilised spiritual intervention to extinguish the fires, attributed the problem to mischievous supernatural powers that some Batswana usually acquire from foreign cultures. “There are some Batswana who learn how to use supernatural powers from different cultures outside the country, either for personal gain or may be to destroy other people.  “But usually the problems emerge when these people are done with these things and they do not know how to get rid of them.
