Election tussle for Phikwe hots up

SELEBI PHIKWE: Botswana Democratic Party member, Letsweletse Matlhape says he is ready to contest against Bobirwa MP, Shaw Kgathi for the parliamentary seat in the next general elections.

Matlhape, along with Oabile Power Moupi, lost to Kgathi during the last 'Bulela Ditswe', the BDP's system of primary elections. Moupi has since decided to opt for Bobonong South West ward currently held by the Botswana Congress Party.

Matlhape, also Macmillan Botswana's Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, believes that he has everything it would take to snatch the seat from Kgathi.
