Eight suspended from UB again

The University of Botswana slapped eight court-reinstated students with an indefinite suspension when the university re-opened on Monday.

The students, who were members of the Student Representative Council (SRC), were given two-week suspensions pending disciplinary hearings after class boycotts by UB students.

The affected students are Kagiso Thutlwe, who is the President of the SRC,  Molatedi Kgotla, Gonewamang Letsatsi, Tebogo Roberts, Gaone Disang, Owen Nsala, Molema Molema and Ragomolemo Kemotho.
