Eight petty criminals in police custody

Palapye police in collaboration with the North-Central Division team has made a breakthrough following the arrest of six petty criminals who have been terrorising residents.

The team arrested five men over the weekend after they came up as suspect(s) in the case of a man residing in Extension 4, Palapye was stabbed with a sharp object and robbed him of money and a mobile phone.

No 2 district officer commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang said three mobile phones suspected to have been stolen were recovered from the quintet when searched by the police.
