Editors gather to discuss climate change

COPENHAGEN:The Global Editors Forum started in Copenhagen, Denmark on Friday under the theme "confronting global warming and achieving energy security".

The conference was opened by Denmark Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen while keynote addresses were delivered by former UN secretary general Kofi Annan and president of European Union Jose Manuel Barroso.

When welcoming editors to Denmark, Rasmussen urged journalists to do more to ensure that issues of climate change are kept on the agenda.
