Dukwi CJSS ungrades refugee students

He said the curriculum and secondary education departments release a blueprint of what is to be taught and offered and the minimum requirements.  "The current blueprint was released in 2005 and what happened at Dukwi is that they used the blueprint that was released in 2004," he said. Ten refugee students from Dukwi JSS were not graded on their JC examinations after violating the nine-subject requirement.

All the students who were not graded are refugees who did not study Setswana.
"It should have been communicated. The 2005 blueprint was sent to all schools and if they had not received they should have enquired. Maybe it was just an oversight," he added.
