DTC Opens Tapwater For Old Man

The newly established Botswana Diamond Training Company (BDTC) on Saturday donated a standpipe to an old man, Radiemere Mohube, in Segoditshane ward in Gaborone Central.

The standpipe, which cost P1,130, was bought through contributions by the department of 97 staff of the BDTC from their own pockets.

Mohube lives alone in a one-roomed house, and according to the area councilor and employee of BDTC, Ephraim Mabengano, he was declared a destitute by the department of social and community development in 2006.
