Driver injured following collision with truck

A Nissan Magnite driver sustained injuries after his vehicle collided with a truck on Friday afternoon along Old Lobatse Road.

Confirming the incident, No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako, said the accident occurred when a truck driver attempted to avoid colliding with a vehicle in front of him.

“The truck driver reported that the vehicle he was following suddenly applied the brakes. In an attempt to avoid hitting the car from behind, he swerved to the right and ended up colliding with an oncoming Nissan Magnite,” said Sebako.
