Driver hits tree, dies instantly

A 40-year-old man of Serowe died when he lost control of a Toyota Runx he was driving and hit a tree near Trans Cash and Carry early Sunday morning.

The accident occurred at about 01:25hrs in what the police suspect was as the result of driver fatique.

“The deceased was rushed to Sekgoma Memorial Hospital where he was certified dead on arrival," said Superintendent Poloko Oteng when confirming the incident. H explained that road traffic accidents that usually occur after mid-night are mostly alcohol related.
