Car, combi collision leaves nine injured

Mogoditshane Police Station commander, Superintendent Boemo Bok said the incident happened at around 7am.
"The driver of an oncoming vehicle lost control, collided with the right front wheel of the minibus taxi, causing it to veer off course and collide with another vehicle approaching from the opposite direction, leaving its driver with serious injuries," he told The Monitor. "The injured driver, who is currently in critical condition at Bokamoso Private Hospital with severe head injuries, was accompanied by a female passenger who sustained minor injuries and escaped relatively unscathed." Meanwhile, eight passengers from the minibus complained of various injuries and are currently receiving medical attention at different hospitals, Bok said.
He also noted that the driver of the vehicle responsible for initiating the accident by striking the minibus taxi's wheel managed to escape the incident without sustaining any injuries.
