Driver commits suicide after killing 71-year-old

A woman who lost control of her car fatally striking a 71-year-old man last year has died of an apparent suicide, Tshane police have confirmed.

The 31-year-old woman of Hunhukwe village was recently found hanging in her rented house’s rafters. The police investigations to establish the cause of her actions are ongoing whilst she will be laid to rest over the weekend at her home village. 

Superintendent Vusimusi Jorowe of Tshane Police Station said the former employee of Hukuntsi Sub-District Council, who used a wire to hang herself did not leave any message justifying her actions.
