�Don�t snub your children in prison�

The Botswana Prisons Rehabilitation Division Assistant Commissioner, Motlalepula Vakalisa, has urged Batswana not to snub child ex-convicts but rather accept them back into the community to help reshape their lives.

Speaking at a Kgotla meeting in Old Naledi recently, Vakalisa called on parents to help in transforming juvenile delinquents such as those passing through Moshupa Boys Prison.

She said the Moshupa Boys Prison helps to rebuild inmates’ character and empower them with the knowledge and skills required to support themselves after jail.
