KANG: Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) chairman, Daniel Kwelagobe, has called on members not to sacrifice the party's democratic culture at the altar of expediency.

Kwelagobe, who is also campaigning for re-election, said although he does not agree with President Ian Khama's initiatives for broad based leadership, the constitution should be the final arbitrator.

The BDP strongman said this on Saturday morning while giving a keynote address at the Kgalagadi North constituency branch congress.
