'Don't blame examining bodies'

Stakeholders in the education sector should desist from blaming examining bodies for the underperformance of candidates, an expert has said.
Paul Wasanga, who is the chairman of the Association for Educational Assessment in Africa (AEAA) and the head of the Kenya's National Examinations Council, said there should be a distinction between assessment bodies and providers of education.
