Donga Clinic becomes second diabetes centre

FRANCISTOWN: Francistown District Health Team (DHT) coordinator, Dr Paul Nashara has said the newly constructed Donga Clinic will provide the diabetes support services in the northern region.

He said the clinic will offer diabetes treatment that was originally meant for Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital. It will be the second such centre in Botswana after Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone.

Nashara said there will be confidential consultation and counselling for people with diabetes and therapeutic education. "All the services will be done there except that it will be different from other clinics across the country. It will offer diabetes services to people in and around Francistown. Other normal services will be available also," he said.
