Domkrag resignations elicits Facebook comments

FRANCISTOWN: The story of the en-masse resignation of the leadership of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) youth league seems to have sparked an intense debate on Facebook, with some welcoming the defections, while others condemned the new party as Barata Maemo Disease.

Of the 20 who contributed their comments before 1pm on Facebook, only four appeared to argue that the BDP is a larger than life party that will rule forever.

Said one pro-BDP commentator: "Go away. You will come back and find us still ruling this country. You, the youth are prone to being hoodwinked."
