Representative from The Patriot newspaper,and PPCB are expected to meet today to decide future relations between the two.Our sources have revealed that The Patriot is going to demand refund from PPCB for the lost sales and advertising revenue after PPCB refused to print their paper last Sunday.

The managing editor of The Patriot on Sunday, Bapasi Mphusu has confirmed that they are meeting the management of Printing and Publishing Company Botswana (PPCB) to map the way forward about their relationship. Last week, PPCB refused to print the privately owned broadsheet allegedly because it had a story about a police raid at the chicken business of Satar Dada. The ruling party treasurer owns PPCB.   "We are meeting the printers tomorrow [Thursday]," said Mphusu adding that they have an open contract with PPCB. He said they would know more about the way forward this afternoon.  Reliable sources say the newspaper is demanding that PPCB compensate it for lost revenue.  When reached for comment, the spokesperson for PPCB, Martin Chibanda demanded a questionnaire which he did not answer at the time of going to press.
