Ditsele Trust formed for Albino youth

RAMOTSWA:The Ditsele Trust is a non-profit making organization that was formed to improve the lives of people born with albinism.

It was formed by A 35 year-old man from Mochudi, Roy Ditsele, who is a Senior Supplies Assistant at BaMalete Lutheran School of Nursing. The Ditsele Trust targets albino youth, the foundezr said: "They (youth) face social and cultural challenges and their condition is widely misunderstood."

He further argued that they face stigmatization and discrimination because their "race and paternity is questioned"."The media even informs us that in some parts of the world they are persecuted and their body parts are
used in rituals," said Ditsele. He also asserts that albinos face a lot of emotional trauma because they are
teased and called derogatory names.
