Disgruntled UBASSU wants UB's Norris out

The University of Botswana Academic and Support Staff Union (UBASSU) has called for the University of Botswana (UB) Vice-Chancellor (VC), Professor David Norris to step down from his position as VC.

UBASSU alleges that Professor Norris has failed them as the UB staff dismally as they have long asked for an increment of as little as five percent, but it has not acceded to date.

UBASSU calls for the VC to step down because the UB staff welfare is not looked after as it has been years without the staff getting any salary increment as, over the past years, other sectors have been getting pay increments.
