The sub-warrant for Directorate of Intelligence and Security was overspent by P2,177,180, representing one percent of the warranted provision, the Auditor General's report for the financial year ending March 31, 2012 has revealed.

"The actual expenditure for the years was P3,571,425,178 resulting in unspent funds of P100,500,952 representing three percent of the warranted provision," says the report. "While this is an overall satisfactory budgetary performance, it is nevertheless disappointing that the Directorate on Intelligence and Security sub-warrant was overspent by P2,177,180 representing one percent of the warranted provision."
