Two specially elected dikgosi are in South Africa for a three-day capacity building workshop on gender-based violence.

Kgosi Moeti Moeti II and Kgosi Tsaxlae Martha Xao are attending the workshop, in New Castle, following an invitation extended to the Ntlo Ya Dikgosi by the Women's Affairs department in the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs. The workshop started yesterday and will end on June 15th.

The workshop is organised by Zivikele Training, a South African company whose objective is to develop capacity in government, national, provincial, parlimentarians and traditional leaders in the fight against gender-based violence and HIV.  The organisation also seeks to commit leadership to embrace strategies in order to provide the desired environment for change in the workplace towards gender-based violence and HIV.
