Defections will bring stability to BMD - Mmolotsi

The secretary general of the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD), Wynter Mmolotsi, has described the defection of the party's former youth leaders to the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) as good riddance.

"We are happy that they have gone. It will bring stability to the organisation," he said.

Recently, three former BMD youth league leaders, including the former interim president Armstrong Dikgafela, tracked their way back to the BDP.
