Decomposed body discovered in Ntshe

The commander of Francistown Police Station, Lebalang Maniki said the case was reported to them by someone who had been troubled by the bad smell in the area where the body was found. The smell forced members of the community to look for the cause.
“To their surprise, they found a decomposed corpse in a trench and immediately alerted the police,” Maniki said. The police have not established the identity of the dead person. Maniki said that it would take sometime to positively identify the family of the deceased due to the scientific process that will be used and if a relative is not found soon.
The P300 million internal roads tender is a case study. A bidder’s complaint revealed alleged irregularities. Now, the Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, frustrated by the delay, writes to the council suggesting the tender be cancelled, and an alternative procurement model be explored, while the matter is still before the courts....
