The push to move to diamonds comes after Botswana’s diamond sector has taken a nosedive , leading to a drop in the country’s national output otherwise known as the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

Recently, government ratified deals to penetrate the international market with export deals to China and the Democratic Republic of Congo providing the country with a glimmer of hope that things might change for the better.
